Hi Sheng,

The sort of problems you are having are really not MINC related but
rather linux related, as such you will be better of to use one of the
more generic linux support groups or Fedora groups.

My only observation is that Fedora 4 is a somwhat older distribution,
whilst a re-install may sound like a rather drastic step to solve a
perl problem, it ay be worth it in the long run. We use a debian based
system here at the BIC and other places.  A more friendly Debian based
system is Ubuntu.
