Greetings,

the deafening silence to your appeals would indicate that nobody is 
actively supporting EMMA at this point. In my opinion it should be 
taken behind the shed and shot, as it is one horrible bit of code 
designed for matlab 4, which was quite a limited language (if my 
knowledge of EMMA history is correct).

It looks like you are mostly on your own. If you are really stuck I can 
wander by at some point to see if I can come up with anything obvious, 
but I have never compiled EMMA under any platform and don't have matlab 
on my mac to try it here.
