[MINC-users] Volume orientation problem

Dear List,
Thanks for the suggestion Jeff, I ran my DICOM files through
dicom3_to_minc, and it all looks much better. Even the transform to
Talairach was blissfully uneventful. However, I considered this process
more of a debugging step, since a working dcm2mnc would deliver serious
performance gains.
Bert: The comparison of the dcm2mnc and dicom3_to_minc volumes
yielded differences in the sign of one dimension's Step, in addition to
some sign differences in direction cosines (BTW, is (0)=(-0) in
direction cosine land?). I have created a tarball of my DICOM files and
transferred them to BIC, if you would like to test against them. Let me
know if you're interested.
Cheers,
-Jim
