I haven't had problems with Register and Display using NetCDF 3.6.0 =
either.

Hi S=F8ren,

Regarding the first issue, I have not experienced any problems using =
MINC
with netCDF 3.6.0-p1, the most recent release.

As for the second issue, the "configure" script for netcdf-3.5.0 tests =
for
the presence of iostream.h, which is considered deprecated in recent
versions of GNU C++.  If you set the CXX environment variable to an =
empty
string, the script will skip the tests of the C++ compiler and the C++
interface will not be built. Since MINC does not need the C++ interface =
to
netCDF, this should not pose a problem.
