the make_model script requires two masks. a cortex mask (<model>_mask.mnc) and a 
headmask for possible non-linear fitting (<model>_headmask.mnc>).

You should be able to mincresample the average_305 masks for your purposes 
as these two models are essentially in the same space albeit with different 
sampling.
