[MINC-users] 3Dvisualization/analysis

Dear minc-users,

In addition to Dylan's post ("Minc to analyze methods" - 12 July 2004), I
was wondering if there is a simple MINC application to 1) easily skull
strip and render individual brains, and 2) easy "point 'n' click on the
cortical surface of the rendering to locate the exact voxel AND world
coordinates (and simultaneously check those points in the corresponding
slices).

Indeed, as Dylan mentions, there are some other tools that would do the
same (like mricro), but they don't support minc. Therefore, a minc tool
would be easier and more reliable than the back and forth data conversion
with possible flaws in it (especially in calculating the exact world
coordinates in co-registered volumes with different dimensions).

Thanks in advance,

Kuan Kho
