[MINC-users] differences between 0.3 and 1.0

Hi all, I'm working on a product that was previously using minc lib 
0.3, and I'm trying to bring it up to speed with minc 1.0.  With the 
same calls (normalization turned, short dataset, converted to unsigned 
bytes), 1.0 seems to be returning slices with varying intensities, 
whereas 0.3 returned a relatively consistent intensity level through 
the slices.

What might be the reason for this discrepancy?
