My goodness you guys are cautious! As far as I know, I'm the only one
who ever cared about those and (as Steve knows) rcsid is a habit I
lost a long time ago. It was useful before -version and for tracking
problems in other people's binaries, but I haven't string'ed for those
in a very long time (a decade or more, perhaps) and I doubt that
anyone else has either.

Please zap them (or bonk if you prefer)!

BTW, happy decade-and-a-half of MINC.
