[MINC-development] emma query

Hi Richard,

It looks to me from the errors that you are correct, MATLAB was
compiled with gcc 3.3 or above and it itself would use c++ (thus the
error).

The only way I can see around this is to install gcc 3.3 as this would
seem to be a requirement of MATLAB.
