NeuroHub’s UK Biobank Query Updates

NeuroHub is a node of the UK Biobank, utilizing the powerful LORIS Data Query Tool (DQT) along side neuroimaging data collected from the UK Biobank's 40,000 participants. This multimodal dataset includes all of the participants’ tabular data allowing users to query this data as needed.

An update to the functionality of this dataset is set to launch soon.

The update will include:

  * Addition of more participant data
  * Additional fields and files, such as imaging modalities and genomics
  * A new file naming convention within the DQT and on Compute Canada
  * A new “Data Dictionary” for easier searchability
  * Clean up of empty fields and categories in the dataset
  *   Various bug fixes

New Training Videos Available

NeuroHub has launched a series of training videos to help onboard new users onto the platform.

The NeuroHub Basics YouTube series features short videos on how to navigate the platform, run computational pipelines, upload data and more.

These videos will soon be accessible directly through the new NeuroHub website which is currently under construction.

General Information

[https://email.envoke.io/web_files/4751/Picture1.png]NeuroHub hosts many national and international datasets. For example, all open datasets from the Canadian Open Neuroscience Platform (CONP) are available as public projects on the NeuroHub Portal and CBRAIN.

NeuroHub can also give you access to many restricted datasets that are not immediately viewable. These include the UK Biobank, HCP, ABIDE, Open Pain and datasets that are locally stored, such as Prevent AD.

From there, users can manipulate the data like a regular project and perform tasks on CBRAIN, access data from a Jupyter Notebook environment or simply download the data for a local analysis.
