PS: Here is the abstract for Jeromes' talk:
*"Mapping queries to brain structures through the neuroimaging literature"*
Brain mapping aims to discover which brain structures are involved in
particular
mental functions and neurological disorders. Functional neuroimaging
techniques
such as fMRI measure how engaging in a task modifies a person's brain
activity,
and are outstanding tools for brain mapping. Dozens of thousands of fMRI
studies
have been published. Meta-analysis tries to extract general and reliable
knowledge about the brain from this vast amount of results. In this talk I
will
present the traditional way of doing meta-analysis and our efforts towards a
more powerful and flexible approach.
