[BIC-announce] [TONIGHT] Movie Night at MNI

Hello MCIN, BIC, Open Science people, and friends,
We will be holding our first Movie Night on Thursday Apr 5th at 7:00PM in the Jean Timmons Amphitheater (this will be in lieu of Open Science Beers on Wednesday as decided at yesterdays meeting).  We plan on this being a reoccurring event where someone from the team brings a movie to watch that is meaningful to them and would like to share with the group.  The movies do not need to be related to neuroscience.
For the first one, we will be watching the movie Animal House, which is an US comedy classic, mainly because Samir has never heard of it. But really, I chose to take the opportunity to share an US classic with you all. Friends are welcome to join us as well.

Many thanks for all the positive feedback - We hope for a great series. A party will be considered, and we will apply for funding for popcorn.

A formal study of the causal effect of the movie-night introduction on the BIC/MCIN scientific productivity is under preparation and will be -obviously- pre-registered in the OSF, pending ethics approval.
