Dear BIC community,

I am pleased to announce that Dr. David Rudko will be joining the MRI Unit on a part-time basis to lead in the re-activation of the 7T small animal MRI scanner presently located at the Genome Building. We are very fortunate that David has agreed to assume these duties, given his extensive experience in high-field MRI of both human and animal models (gained during his doctoral work at the University of Western Ontario with Ravi Menon). I would also like to thank his post-doctoral Supervisor Dr. Sridar Narayanan for letting us ‘borrow’ David in this capacity.

Our current goal is to restore the system to full function within the next six months. Please feel free to contact David directly at david.rudko at mcgill.ca for inquiries regarding small animal MRI at the BIC.

With best regards,

Rick
