Just a quick reminder that Brain Awareness Montreal’s Scientific Cafe on the neuroscience of intelligence is taking place next Monday (June 30) at 7:00pm at La Sala Rossa. Further info can be found below.

How do we measure intelligence? Does our brain size really reflect the level of our intelligence? How can one identify giftedness? Are the brains of gifted individuals different? How is our educational system accommodating new research findings on intelligence? Are there any markers for brain aging known to us?

Join us for our last Brain Awareness Montreal Scientific Café of 2014 where leading neuroscientists, Françoys Gagné, PhD, Sherif Karama, MD, PhD, and Bruce Shore, PhD will discuss how intelligence is developed and mapped in our brain. After a brief discussion by each speaker, they will answer questions from the public.

Join us on Monday, June 30th, at 7:00PM at La Sala Rossa (4848 St. Laurent) for an evening of entertainment and enlightenment. This bilingual event is free and everyone is welcome! Refreshments will be served and live music will be playing!

Joignez-vous à nous pour notre dernier Café Scientifique Cerveau en Tête de 2014, où les chefs de file en neuroscience Françoys Gagné, PhD, Sherif Karama, MD, PhD, et Bruce Shore, PhD, discuteront comment l’intelligence est développée et établie dans notre cerveau. Après une brève discussion par  chaque conférencier, ils répondront aux questions du public.

Le café prend place le lundi, 30 juin, 19h à La Sala Rossa (4848 St. Laurent).  Ce sera une  soirée divertissante et éclairante.  Cet événement bilingue est gratuit et tous sont les bienvenus! Des rafraîchissements seront servis et il y aura du divertissement musical!
