Subject: Registration open for GSAN's Gradate Symposium in Neuroscience!

Hello all,

Registration is open for the Graduate Symposium in Neuroscience (click here to access the form<https://docs.google.com/forms/d/1Y8ZjTZv9Fsns9FRe_tm9m2gR86CCYehrm2VyMs28dkA/viewform>), presented by the Graduate Student's Association for Neuroscience, which will take place Wednesday, May 29th at 1:30 PM in the DeGrandpré Communications Centre at the Montreal Neurological Institute.

The afternoon will begin with a series of student presentations, followed by a keynote presentation by Dr. Eric Racine. Dr. Racine is the Director of the Neuroethics Research unit at the IRCM and is interested in developing a pragmatic framework for bioethics based on empirical research and exploring its implications in concrete questions related to the ethical application of neuroscience in research, patient care and public policy. His presentation is titled "Does the public's understanding of neuroscience matter? Questions and perspectives from neuroethics", which will begin at 4:00 PM.

Coffee and refreshments will be available after the student presentations, and a wine and cheese reception will follow Dr. Racine's lecture.

For more information, and titles of student presentations, please see our website<http://gsaneuro.wordpress.com/academic/graduate-symposium-in-neuroscience/>!

Looking forward to seeing you there!

Sincerely,

The GSAN Academic team
