We are pleased to announce a series of hands-on MEG and (i)EEG data analysis training sessions with Brainstorm (http://neuroimage.usc.edu/brainstorm). Brainstorm is an NIH-funded software initiative: it is free and open-source, does not require a Matlab license, and has registered 7,200 downloads so far. It reads most EEG and MEG data formats, has capacity for MEG, EEG and intra-cranial EEG source imaging, time-frequency decompositions, connectivity analyses, advanced databasing, etc.,  all with a user-friendly graphical interface and powerful scripting features.
