Dear Colleagues:
I am hosting this week's Killam speaker, David Linden, Professor of Neuroscience at Johns Hopkins University. David works in the area of synaptic plasticity, with special interest in the cellular basis of information storage in the cerebellum. On the editorial board of several high-impact journals, he is Editor-in-chief at the Journal of Neurophysiology. Known as an effective popularizer of neuroscience, he published recently a book for lay readers, « The Accidental Mind », on evolution of the brain and human cognition.
He is an engaging speaker, so I hope to see you there for a stimulating seminar entitled « Cellular and Molecular Substrates of Motor Learning in the Cerebellum ».
Best regards,
Philippe Séguéla
