Please see the note that follows from Dr. Jean-Paul Soucy. Thank you.
Jennifer

To: all PET investigators.

At this time, the PET Unit of the BIC offers what is likely to be the
largest choice of different PET radiopharmaceuticals found in any PET
centre in the world. We can produce 14 different agents on a more or
less regular basis, a truly remarkable feat, and we owe a lot to our
radiochemistry team for making it possible. This, however, is the
absolute limit of what we can do given our equipment and space
constraints.

Recently, some investigators have prepared very interesting research
projects involving tracers we do not normally prepare. While we all
appreciate their enthusiasm, this has resulted in situations where they
had to be told that preparing the agent(s) requested was not possible
for us. In order to prevent such unfortunate events from happening
again, I would like to ask all investigators writing new PET projects
with tracers they are not certain we offer to first check with me or
with Dr Ralf Schirrmacher about the status of those products at the BIC.

Yours,

Jean-Paul
