Please join us for Neurosurgery Day on Friday, December 12 in the de Grandpré Communications Centre. Research presentations will be given from 8 am to 3:45 pm on topics in functional neurosurgery, neuro-imaging, neuro-oncology and operative neurosurgery. At 4 pm, Professor M. Gazi Yasargil from the University of Arkansas will deliver the Rasmussen Lecture entitled 'My experiences with selective amygdale-hippocampectomy in patients with intractable limbic temporal seizures."
Dr. Yasargil is internationally known for his clinical and research activities and has authored several books, including the Verlag text Microneurosurgery. In 1999, Dr. Yasargil was honored by the Journal of Neurosurgery as the Neurosurgeon of the Century.
