Symposium at the Neuro
Amytrophic Lateral Sclerosis: Causes and Therapeutic Perspectives September 9-10, 2005

The Montreal Neurological Institute will host a symposium, "Amytrophic Lateral Sclerosis: Causes and Therapeutic Perspectives" on September 9-10, 2005.  Research scientists, clinicians and students are encouraged to attend. Thanks to the generous support of the Fondation Andre Delambre, the symposium is free to all participants.

The symposium will include scientific presentations and poster sessions in English.  Lunch will be provided each day at no cost. More than 20 invited speakers from North America and Europe will address topics of special interest to researchers and clinicians interested in ALS, such as
                Genetics of Motor Neuron Disease
                Neuron-Glial Interactions in Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis 
                Mechanisms of Motor Neuron Disease
                Therapeutics: Issues in Clinical Trials and Drug Development
                Therapeutics: New Techniques for Therapeutic Delivery           	

The symposium will run from 8:30 am to 5 pm on Friday and Saturday, September 9 and 10, in the

        Montreal Neurological Institute and Hospital at McGill University

        Montreal, Quebec
