Subject: Electronic TSI
Hi,
Here's a summary of what we all discussed on the call today about the possibility to move to an electronic TSI for infant projects. One of the main reasons for doing this is to ensure we aren't missing any data during screening. The reason for coding this outside of the DCC is that there is too much PHI on the TSI for the whole thing to live on the database.
We would like to create an online version of the infant TSIs that can be completed in Qualtrics or Redcap and imported into the IBIS database. If each site could discuss this with relevant staff at their site and then get back to us with answers to the two questions below, that would be great. This will help Leigh and Santiago plan for the best way to incorporate the DCC database in the plan.
1. Does your site want to participate in using an online version of the TSI?
2. If so, do you see yourselves doing all TSIs online, some online, or none online?
3. Which platform would you prefer? Redcap or Qualtrics or Either is fine
4. Does your university have any hoops to jump through using either Redcap or Qualtrics?
5.
Thanks so much!
