Hi Dave,

Yes, I fixed that. I cann login into mysql using the "mysql loris account" from the loris VM.

I'm not sure if you've already fixed this, but another thing to keep in mind that I don't see mentioned in this thread is that MySQL accounts are tied to where it's connecting from, so the hostname/ip part of your MySQL account itself might need to be fixed.
