[MINC-users] MEX version of mincresample?

Dear All,

Out of curiosity, apart from the EMMA tools, has anyone created Matlab 
executables (aka mex files) for the MINC tools, such as mincresample?

The reason I'm asking is that I need to do multiple resampling of an image 
(for now using mincresample) within a matlab script, and the file IO 
creates a considerable overhead in terms of execution time (especially 
since the IO is done on NFS disks). So I was hoping to save time by 
eliminating this file IO by using a mex version of mincresample (or any 
other alternatives).

Any suggestion would be greatly appreciated!
