[MINC-users] MINC to DICOM

Hi all,

Yes, I know this has been an issue previously discussed. Did anyone ever solve the conversion?
I tried the LONI Debabeler which claims to be able convert to dicom. However, selecting the right mapping I get

* Target Writing Error
...[ Unable to write data to the files. ]...
...[ Unable to recognize the image type. ]...
* Unable to write translated data for "dicom_source".
* Group Translation Error
...[ Unable to write all the target data. ]...
* Unable to translate (minc_source) to (dicom_source) involving the files:

and this is for a minc file downloaded from LONI.
I also tried doing mnc2nii with and without the -analyze option and debabeling the outputs. But no luck.
So does anyone have suggestions on how to obtain dicom images from minc? Maybe mincextract combined with some obscure conversion tool will do the trick?
