[MINC-users] dicom3_to_minc argument list too long

Dear all, 

I'm playing with a 7T MR dicom volume, and trying to convert it to minc, I'm getting 

dicom3_to_minc MR.1.3_mnc/ MR.1.3_dicom/*
bash: /usr/local/bin/dicom3_to_minc: /usr/bin/env: bad interpreter: Argument list too long

Can anyone suggest a fix?

P.S.: according to the list of dicom files, looks like about 1827 slices.
