[MINC-users] Problem compiling ray_trace

I'm compiling under Debian 3.1r0a for AMD64, but it was a network
install and some things might be missing.  Is there something I could
try to apt-get?

I tried passing -with-image-ppm to configure, and it terminated saying

configure: error: cannot find required header
