[MINC-users] V and W coordinates in mni register

Hi Nam,

The V coordinate is the "voxel" coordinate. It corresponds to the
physical array indices within the 3D MINC volume.

The W coordinate is the "world" coordinate. Every MINC file contains a
transform from voxel to world coordinates. Unless the file has been
explicitly registered and resampled to Talairach space, the world
coordinate system is probably derived from the scanner's patient position
information, and therefore may be somewhat arbitrary.
