I should clarify this.  By this I mean, use float during processing
and then convert back to whatever datatype you were using originally,
I suspect that in most cases, this would be byte. At this stage, you
should then possibly rerun mincreshape/mincmath with one of the
fiddles that have been described in this thread Just to be sure.
