Hey all,

Does anyone know what happened to the "-2" option for rawtominc (cvs and
2.0.12)?

This feature existed in an old quarantine I built using 2.0.09 but for some
reason has been removed.

I threatened to a while ago, but haven't yet.  Does it produce minc 2 files?

Nope. As the program takes raw as input rather than a minc file, it doesn't
follow any of the special rules.

Took a quick look at the code and the MINC2 flags have mysteriously
vanished! ;)

Looks like Claude removed it by accident when he checked in version 6.20
of rawtominc.c

He must've started with an out-of-date version of the file.

create minc2.0 files.

I'm trying to track down sources for some old mni software -
minc_alignlinear, which is based on the AIR package. I contacted Peter
Neelin, who was involved but no longer works at MNI, and he suggested
ftp://ftp.bic.mni.mcgill.ca/pub/minc/old/mincair-0.2.tar.gz

Unfortunately I can't access this. Can anyone dig up this old code and
make it available?

Hi everyone,

I am just wondering if any of you could clarify the following.

My understanding of rawtominc with float data is,

-scan_range is ignored with float data.

-there should not be any slice scaling.

However, I see that rawtominc creates slice scaling with float data
(-float -ofloat)
