[MINC-development] programs looking for other programs

hi folks --

i am working on my x86_64 freesurfer port, and some of my mni stuff seems
unable to find other mni stuff:

> >>>nu_estimate_np_and_em: couldn't find program "spline_smooth"
> >>>nu_estimate_np_and_em: couldn't find program "volume_stats"

...can anybody tell me where these can be found?  i am wondering if i have
crossed-up versions of the various packages or somesuch.
