Unfortunately, the Siemens, GE, Philips converters were (and I suspect
still are) developed under NDA and the perl code exposes proprietary
information that those companies at one point cared about keeping quiet
(goodness knows why), so they cannot be freely distributed. The
Scanditronix and ECAT converters do not have this problem, as far as I
understand.

There is a dicom_to_minc perl script in the same spot that could
be useful:

Input format name: DICOM
Output: .mnc
URL/ Download site: http://www.bic.mni.mcgill.ca/~neelin/distrib/minc_converters/dicom/
Development Info: Peter Neelin
Dependencies: minc, perl, libacr_nema (same directory),
image_filters (required source files in same
directory, full package at MNI minc ftp site)
Comments: Based on an old perl script hack, but produces
reasonably good MINC files for anatomical MRI.
Preserves standard DICOM fields from the
first DICOM file in the minc header.
