Why should you submit an abstract?

Trainees are central to the culture shift needed to advance Open Science. As a McGill trainee working in Open Science in Neuroscience, you can give your work international exposure at the 6th annual Open Science in Action Symposium (OSIA), an initiative by the Tanenbaum Open Science Institute (TOSI).

Poster Session

  *   Twenty abstracts will be selected for the OSIA poster session.
  *   Three abstracts will be invited to give a 5-minute flash talk during the trainee poster highlights session of the symposium.
  *   The best poster presentations (up to three) will receive an 80$ cash prize.

The Open Science In Action Symposium

This annual event is dedicated to the transformative impact of Open Science. Every year, this international symposium brings together researchers, educators, policymakers, and industry leaders to explore how far Open Science has come, and where it has yet to go.

For the first time in the Symposium’s history, the Tanenbaum Open Science Institute is inviting trainees to submit an abstract to present their Open Science work in the field of neuroscience.
