Are you seeking new interdisciplinary collaborations to enhance your cognitive neuroscience research? CONNECT is back with a funding opportunity offering support for idea development and research collaboration, aiming to support projects at any stage of development, even those in their early stages.



This request for applications (RFA) is a science expertise "matching" opportunity: funds are offered to support a new collaboration that would help your research get one step closer to generating outputs with real-world impact. CONNECT encourages innovation and novel research approaches—applications take the form of short "pitch" presentations, eliminating traditional written proposals.



Key Details:

  *   Launch Networking Event (Optional, in-person): October 26, 2023
  *   Intent to Apply Deadline (via email, required): November 14, 2023
  *   Pitch Presentation (Required): December 14, 2023
  *   Funding: Up to $50,000 for projects lasting up to one year with possibility of renewal
  *   Eligibility: At least one applicant must be based at McGill and co-applicants must not have collaborated previously

The informal Launch Networking Event marks the beginning of the Expertise Matchmaking initiative. Join us on October 26, 2023, from 4:00 - 6:00 p.m. at the HBHL office (1010 Sherbrooke St W, 18th floor) to mingle and network with fellow PIs, and for outlining funding requirements and expectations. This is an opportunity to meet potential collaborators!
