[BIC-announce] Re-opening of MEG scanning!

Dear All,

After 12+ months of forced closure due to major disruptions in the liquid helium supply chain, I am very pleased to announce the re-opening of MEG scanning at the BIC/Neuro, effective July 13th, 2023.

I encourage everyone to share the news, and seize the opportunity to resume their MEG studies or consider starting new ones. Details concerning access are available on the BIC website<https://www.mcgill.ca/bic/meg-unit>.

Investigators who are new to MEG are encouraged to try our MEG-Infinity program, which offers unlimited scanning time for a flat rate over a period of 6 months.

ps/ An helium recycling system is slated for installation by Jan 2024, which will make MEG operations helium-independent. A new, improved, faster data collection system is also slated for installation later in 2024.
