Dear all,
Please distribute widely, we have been working on this for some time and we
hope to develop a full fledged neuroimaging data/software carpentry
curriculum. This first iteration will also provide us with feedback from
the students.
Cheers
JB

Background
Since 2018, a group of neuroscientists from several Canadian universities
and institutions have been collaborating to create and teach a curriculum
for neuroimaging analysis and neuroinformatics. Adopting open standards
like BIDS and fostering FAIR principles is among the strategic goals of
this training program. This project is seeking a form of accreditation from
The Carpentries, whose vision is to be the leading inclusive community
teaching data and coding skills. For this reason, we name our effort
NeuroCarpentry.

The collaborators: Erin Dickie, Jerry Jeyachandra, Jason Kai, Michael
Joseph, Sara Stephenson, Nikhil Parag Bhagwat, Patrick Bermudez, Michael
Dayan, Paule-J Toussaint, Swapna, Jon Haitz Legarreta, Olivia Stanley, JB
Poline, Ted Strauss, James Desjardins.

Thank you

Ted Strauss

Data Management and Sharing Coordinator, Tanenbaum Open Science Institute
