yesterday's message was sent to the bic-users mailing list (manditory for those with BIC accounts) and I just realized that I should have also sent it to bic-announce (optional membership) ... apologies for the cross-postings.

In addition, be advised that the following web portals and/or virtual machines (VM) will be offline during the move...

Unfortunately, we do not have the resources to migrate everything, having suffered the loss of one major VM server earlier this week.
