[BIC-announce] Recycling: stapled paper?

Hello again,

I was asked about whether it is necessary to remove staples from paper when recycling it:

  1.  If you are putting them into one of the IRON MOUNTAIN shredding boxes, there is no need to remove the staples as that is done as part of their process.
  2. Hello all,

I have been asked to send out a reminder about what should go into the recycling bins (see below).
And to ask you to please:

  1.  flatten carboard boxes and paper before you place them in the bins
  2.  rinse all soiled containers (e.g. cans, jars, yogurt containers, etc.) before putting them in the bin
  3.  use the appropriate bins for plastic bottles and aluminium cans
  4.  not recycle soiled/greasy paper, tissues, and napkins; or non-recyclable plastic
