[BIC-announce] FW: New Reservation/Billing software at the BIC

Dear BIC users,

This is to inform you that Dr. Eidelman and his MedIT Team have recently provided us with a new reservation/billing tracking software, which will be replacing the old "LOGIPLAN / reservations and billing " software in order to manage more efficiently the different administrative operations of the BIC platforms, and to respond to the recommendation made by both the McGill Internal Audit Committee, and the Tri-agency auditors. Yet before we can definitely switch to this new operating system, a few necessary tasks need to be carried out by our Finance and Administration team (Hélène and Judith), in collaboration with some of the BIC's staff. Most importantly, every single reservation of time slots made to date for scanning on our different human and animal imaging platforms will need to be transferred to the new calendar. This will obviously take time and efforts, but we believe that the whole process will be finished by mid-December.

Once this is completed, you, or a member of your team, will be instructed on how to use the software and will be informed on the new billing procedure. In the mean time, I am sure I can count on your support and understanding with regards to the inconvenience that this necessary change may produce.
