Hello,
In September the BIC launched the Plotly tool for sharing and collaborating
with data visualizations in any language. This is accessible at
https://plotly.bic.mni.mcgill.ca/. To help users learn to use this new
tool, BIC will host a workshop and lab session with Chelsea Douglas,
Plotly's head of support. We encourage you to bring your projects that
involve data visualization and figures generated by a language like Matlab,
R, Javascript or Python. If you don't have a project, there will be
assignments for you to work through.

There will be 20-30 minutes of presentation, and the remaining time will be
for working on projects with direct help from the presenter. Please bring
your laptop.

Date: Tuesday. November 28, 2-4pm.
Location: NW125, north wing.
Attendance: Please email ted.strauss at mcgill.ca to RSVP. (We'll upgrade to a
larger room if needed.)
