Dear BIC community, please see below an opportunity for a sys admin job position for our imaging platform at PERFORM that may be of interest for some of you.


Systems Administrator position at the PERFORM Centre
The PERFORM centre’s Bio Imaging suite is currently looking for a system administrator who will be in charge of configuring/maintaining the computer infrastructure for the centre. The candidate will be in charge of configuring and proposing uniform solutions for powerful workstations on which most useful imaging softwares will be installed (i.e. compilation, eventual debugging, configuration, regular updates), providing access to data storage and backup solutions, maintaining a cluster of computers allowing efficient parallel computations for most of our imaging users. The environment will be Linux based, and expertise in working within an imaging environment would definitely be an important asset. Ou objective is to provide to our imaging users a uniform and efficient platform for analyzing large amount of imaging data.
