[BIC-announce] 2015 BIC Travel Award Competition: Deadline to submit is Wed-May-13

*Reminder: The BIC Travel Award Competition is fast approaching!*

The deadline for submitting a presentation to the BIC Travel Award
Competition is *next Wednesday, May 13*, so please email us with your
submissions! Currently, we only have a few competitors for the two $500
prizes: your chances of success are quite high!

If you are interested in presenting, please contact
anastasia.sares at mail.mcgill.ca or benjamin.gold at mail.mcgill.ca with your
name, supervisor, title, and status (Master's/PhD/Postdoc). In-progress and
preliminary research is welcome. Please ask us if you are in doubt about
your eligibility.



*The 2015 BIC Travel Award Competition*


*When and where? *

Monday, May 25th, during the Feindel Brain Imaging Lecture, starting at 1:00
pm in the Grandpré Communications Centre, Montreal Neurological Institute

The duration of the presentations will depend on how many presenters
volunteer, but will be less than 15 minutes.



*Am I eligible?*

This competition is open to Students or Post-Docs who:


1) Will be attending a conference* in 2015 where they will be presenting
brain-imaging data that they collected,

    or brain-imaging methods that they developed, here at the BIC;

*AND*

2) Are not previous recipients of a BIC Travel Award.


** Please note that the winners will have to prove their conference
attendance in order to claim their prize.  Also, while multiple members of
a lab may compete, there can only be one winner per lab.*
