*Students and Post-docs at the McConnell Brain Imaging Centre and
Affiliated Research Centres:*
The BIC Travel Award Competition is back and we are looking for BIC
students and Post-Docs to showcase their research and practice their
presentation skills in preparation for summer conferences -- and, perhaps,
even earn a little cash for said conferences.
The competition will occur during the regular Feindel Brain Imaging Lecture
slot on May 25th, starting at 1:00 pm in the Grandpré Communications
Centre. The two top-voted presenters of the day will each receive a $500
BIC Travel Award thanks to proceeds from everyone at the MNI who has
availed themselves of the coffee machine this year.
Importantly, even if you aren't presenting, you'll still have a part to
play as the winners will be determined by vote of the audience; so mark
your calendars!
If you are interested in presenting, please contact
anastasia.sares at mail.mcgill.ca or benjamin.gold at mail.mcgill.ca with your
title no later than May 13th before the competition date. In-progress and
preliminary research is welcome. Please ask us if you are in doubt about
your eligibility.
