Our event features two technical sessions presented by MathWorks engineers:

10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.: Session 1: MATLAB Ramp Up for Students
This session is intended for undergraduate students who are new to MATLAB and are using MATLAB for course work. The session will introduce the MATLAB environment, identify useful components in MATLAB, and demonstrate some of the basic operations. A case study will be used to show how MATLAB may be applied to solve a problem.

1:00 – 3:00 p.m.: Session 2: MATLAB and Simulink for Programming Low-Cost Hardware
This session will explain MATLAB and Simulink’s capabilities for programming low-cost hardware like LEGO, Arduino, Raspberry Pi, BeagleBoard, as well as, many other platforms. The session demonstrates the workflow for using MATLAB and Simulink with hardware, whether your application is coursework, research, or student projects. No Simulink experience is required.
