The second (closed) portion of the summer school is a collaborative hackathon in which the CREATE-MIA trainees will be challenged, as a group, to develop software to solve problem based on capturing and modeling 3D data using novel cameras. At the end of the day on Friday, they will present the results of the hackathon to a panel. A number of our industrial partners (Elekta, Imeka, NeuroRx, ORS, and Rogue Research) will also be participating in the hackathon either by mentoring and encouraging the hackers as they work or by serving on the panel at the end.

A full description of the summer school can be found at http://aggie.cim.mcgill.ca:8080/create-mia/events/create-mia-summer-school-2014.

Best,

Krys
