Research Associate - Michael J. Tarr’s lab Department of Psychology Carnegie Mellon University
Description:
Our lab's research focuses on topics in high-level vision such as face, object, motion and scene perception, investigated with behavioral and neuroimaging techniques (including fMRI, diffusion imaging, and MEG), and leveraging analysis methods that utilize machine learning and modeling. A successful candidate will assist with all aspects of research in the lab, from experiment programming, data collection, data analysis, and publication. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: assisting with programming in Psychophysics Toolbox, generation of stimuli including 3D graphics and animations, recruiting participants and collecting behavioral data, assisting with fMRI data collection and processing, helping maintain and organize lab resources such as computers/software and data, and administrative management of the lab including IRB forms and participant payment.
