*BIC Lecture Series: Winter-2013 Program*

The BIC Lecture
Series<http://www.bic.mni.mcgill.ca/Seminars/BICLectureSeries>
features
informal lectures on brain imaging presented at the McConnell Brain Imaging
Centre <http://www.bic.mni.mcgill.ca/Main/HomePage> (*BIC*) by experts in
the field. These lectures are open to all.

Please join us for the next BIC Lecture of the season, which will be held
in The Neuro's de Grandpré Communications
Centre<http://neuromedia.mcgill.ca/mnibooking/facdirections/dgccdir.htm>
 (3801
University Street, Montreal, QC, H3A 2B4)* *on *Monday, May the 6th,
starting at 1:00 pm**.*
*
*
*At that time, Dr. Andrew
Reader<http://www.mni.mcgill.ca/neuro_team/mbic/andrew_reader/>
will be presenting us with some recent research highlights in PET-imaging
reconstruction and analysis. *

Please note that Dr. Reader's presentation will be preceded by a short
introduction of a Neuro Photo Exhibit Awareness Project that will be
presented to the public at the end of the summer called NEURO PORTRAIT.
This photo exhibit was initiated by a patient, Yves Ferland, with the goal
to help to increase The Neuro’s profile, particularly in the francophone
community, but also in the general Quebec population. The exhibit is
finally taking shape after 2 years of planning and photo shooting, and will
be shown in several Downtown Montreal public venues starting this August
2013.

Cheers!
Aki
