Full-time Research Assistant Position Available
Cognitive Neuroscience of Memory and Aging Lab
Lab of Dr. M. Natasha Rajah,

McGill University.
The laboratory of Dr. Natasha Rajah, Douglas Institute, McGill University (Montreal, Canada) is currently seeking a full-time research assistant interested in the cognitive neuroscience of memory and aging. The lab's research is focused on using neuroimaging techniques to examine the neural substrates of learning and memory in healthy young adults, and to understand how healthy aging affects these neural processes. The successful candidates will work with Dr. Rajah and current lab members on fMRI and behavioral experiments examining prefrontal and hippocampal contributions to episodic memory in young, middle aged and older adults.
Starting date: May 1, 2013 (approximately)
Requirements: The applicant should have: 1) a university degree with training in psychology, or neuroscience, or human biology, 2) basic neuroanatomical knowledge and a keen interest in cognitive neuroscience of memory, 3) expertise with MS Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint), 4) experience with SPSS and statistical analysis, 5) strong communication skills in English (spoken and written), and 6) good inter-personal skills.
Preferred Skills: It is preferred the applicant: 1) holds an M.Sc., 2) is fully bilingual (English/French), 3) has had experience with human subject testing and administration of neuropsychological tests, and 4) has experience working in a Linux environment and Matlab. Prior experience with E-Prime, and fMRI data analysis are assets.
