Subject: Join a MathWorks Webinar Series on MATLAB and Medical Image Processing
MathWorks invites you to join us for a two part webinar series on Friday, September 16th at 4:00 pm EDT and Friday, September 23rd at 2:00 pm EDT. You may register for either part of the series, or both.
On September 16th at 4:00 pm EDT, join us to learn how to use MATLAB and Image Processing Toolbox to solve problems and explore ideas for medical image analysis. We will focus on a problem of image segmentation and experiment quantification using a set of high-throughput gene expression images. Our workflow will include the following highlights:
- Options for importing and exploring imagery
- Algorithm development using the MATLAB environment
- Evaluation of image processing techniques for segmentation
- Application development, including GUI building within MATLAB
- Report generation
- Application deployment
We will also show the ease with which Microsoft Excel can be used in conjunction with MATLAB. The webinar will last approximately 60 minutes. A Q&A session will follow the presentation and demos.
On September 23rd at 2:00 pm EDT, join us for part two of this webinar series. Medical image processing requires a comprehensive environment for data access, analysis, processing, visualization, and algorithm development. In this webinar, you will learn how to use MATLAB and Image Processing Toolbox to solve problems using CT, MRI and fluorescein angiogram images. Our demonstrations will include the following highlights:
- Volume visualization of a brain MRI image stack
- Multimodal image registration to optimize the alignment of CT and MRI data
- Video analysis and neural network-based classification of a fluorescein angiogram
The presentation will last approximately 60 minutes and includes a Q&A session with the audience at the end of the presentation.
