ACE Neuroimaging Lab (Dr. Alan Evans), McConnell Brain Imaging Centre (BIC), Montreal Neurological Institute (MNI), McGill University, Montreal, Quebec, Canada.

Description:
This position is for the summer of 2011 and is ideally suited for a motivated student in neuro-science (or a computer science student who wants exposure to bio-numerics).

Tasks:

 *   Assist in the 3-D reconstruction of high-resolution histology slices of the human brain.
 *   Primary task will focus on quality control of slice integrity and manual alignment/correction of defects.

Qualifications:

 *   Familiarity with Linux operating system, PERL scripting.
 *   Knowledge of neuro-anatomy.
 *   Experience with image manipulation and editing.
