Speaker: Dr. Félix Carbonell González, Postdoctoral fellow Montreal Neurological Institute, McGill University

Title: Statistical Analysis of fMRI data

Abstract:
The purpose of the talk is to present basic foundations of modeling and inference in fMRI data.
We present how standard time series modeling can be adjusted to volumes of fMRI data. In particular,
we show how spatial regularization techniques reduces bias significatively and increases the sensitivity
of SPMs. We also present regularization techniques in the context of fixed effect analysis for combining
statistical results of several runs, sessions and subjects. Finally, some aspects of statistical analysis
in resting state data are also presented
